Old Sewing Notions in a Nest

Who knew that a curvy glass vase, Spanish moss from Dollar Tree, and some old spools of thread could look so pretty and cozy?  I can't believe it myself!  I really love it. Oh, and colored pencils in a McCoy pot?   Who could do better than that one?  This is what happens when one 'shops the house'.  You know, shop the house?  I had quite forgotten about those old spools 'from my stash'.  The Spanish moss was suppose to be for something else, now I'll have to buy some more. (oh bummer, that means go shopping)  And the vase, it was on its way back into the stash.  Unusual, but I love it.  I don't think the picture does it justice.  This is part of the dining room re-do by the way.  The final view soon, I hope.  I dug out so many projects to work on and I want it all done now.  I'm linking to Making the World Cuter for her Monday Linky.  The Nester is doing neat things with Spanish moss too.

That is a great idea. I have a ton of those old bobbins and I am always trying to find a use for them. Thanks for the inspiration!!
