BLACK OLIVE SPREAD

I was rummaging through the cabinet and I found two cans of black olives. I looked in the fridge and we had cream cheese too! I asked mom if I could make some olive spread.

Recipe: 1 6oz. can of black olives, drained and chopped

1 8oz. package of cream cheese, softened

1/4 teas. of ground granulated garlic

1/4 teas. of graulated onion

1/8 teas. of cumin

1 dash of hot pepper sauce (like Tabasco)

salt to taste ( I put 6 shakes)

blend until smooth. Spread on your favorite cracker. I used Ritz.

Yum. I like Ritz crackers and this recipe sounds like it would taste really good with these kind of crackers.

Hey, how come we didn't have any of these yummy looking hors d'oeuvrs when we were there today?!?!! :) Thanks so much for the invite. I had a wonderful visit and so appreciate your making the effort as well to "keep in touch". You know we could be "out of sight, out of mind" which would make me really sad! We love you guys and look forward to staying in touch even with a few extra miles between us! Mrs. P
