A few weeks ago we started to get fresh farm milk. It's better than store bought milk. The cream is so rich and thick . It's a bargain at $3 a gallon. I just love it! On the compositon blog I have written about how to make butter ! click here.

homemade butter sounds pretty impressive! We tried making butter for awhile, but the flavor was so dependant on what Tippy (our cow) had eaten that day that we finally gave it up.
Ha! I have some friends who might like to argue that "nothing can compete with Jersey" statement...:D I like Brown Swiss cattle:) They have really big eyes and soft fur.
But you're right, NOTHING can compare to fresh milk!!!!
